I tried 2 cups of dry rice, and twice height ( roughly) of water in a large stainless steel pot.

Put heat to medium high, threw in the rice, stirred, waiting for boil.

Once boiling, lowered heat to low on the big burner and waited 10 minutes.

At 10 minutes, all water was absorbed and rice was mostly cooked, maybe like 90%. Kind of sloppy and sticky, but i fluffed.

Waited 6 minutes through steam.

Rice was a little soft but pretty good.

Consider less boiling.
